‘Unwavering’ Nominated for Panda Awards 2024

Stay Wild Studio is proud to announce that UNWAVERING has been nominated for a Panda Award in the “Best Cinematography” category at the Wildscreen Festival 2024.

Recognized as the world’s leading international festival celebrating excellence in natural-world storytelling since 1982, Wildscreen honors the very best in the craft of nature filmmaking. This nomination highlights UNWAVERING’s outstanding visual artistry, complemented by an evocative score from composer Christian Heschl, which together elevate the film’s emotional and cinematic impact.

Held biennially, the Wildscreen Festival receives hundreds of top-tier submissions across 14 categories. The prestigious Panda Awards—often referred to as the “Green Oscars”—represent one of the highest distinctions in the nature-film industry.

In 2024, more than 700 productions from over a quarter of the world’s countries were submitted, with only 39 films receiving nominations. UNWAVERING is honored to stand alongside acclaimed international productions such as Billy & Molly (National Geographic), Chimp Empire (Netflix), Planet Earth 3 (BBC), Mammals (BBC), Living with Leopard (Netflix), and Queens (National Geographic).

The winners will be announced at the Panda Awards Ceremony on October 17, 2024, in Bristol, UK.
