‘Unwavering’ Nominated for Cinematography Award at Earth In Focus 2025

Stay Wild Studio is thrilled to share that UNWAVERING has been officially nominated for the Cinematography Award at the upcoming Earth In Focus Singapore Nature Film Festival 2025.

This nomination is an incredible honor and a testament to the creative vision and dedication of the entire team behind UNWAVERING.

As part of the official festival selection, UNWAVERING will be showcased alongside inspiring works from filmmakers around the world. The festival will take place from October 31 to November 2, 2025, at The Foundry, 11 Prinsep Link, Singapore, with the Awards Ceremony to be held on October 31.

We are honored to be part of this international celebration of nature and storytelling, and we extend our gratitude to the Earth In Focus team for recognizing our work.

Chris Schmid

Chris Schmid is an award winning photographer and filmmaker based in Switzerland, although his work takes him all over the world. His subjects focus on wildlife, travel and outdoor activities. His photographs are an invitation to discover the world with wide eyes and vibrant enthusiasm. His aspiration always remains the same: approaching the environment in the midst of its elements.

He is a Sony Global Imaging ambassador, a DJI ambassador and an official contributing photographer to WildAID. He has won multiple international awards including PDN World in Focus, IPA Professional, PX3 Prix de la Photographie de Paris and Nature’s Best Photography Africa. Chris is also a contributor to the Remembering Elephants project, the Born Free Foundation fund-raising book and exhibition, illustrated by the worlds finest wildlife photographers.
