Stay Wild Studio Announces New Wildlife Documentary Bone Dry

Stay Wild Studio has announced the development of Bone Dry, a cinematic wildlife documentary set in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. The film captures a year-long seasonal cycle in one of the harshest environments on Earth, where survival is dictated by the relentless forces of drought and scarcity.

Filmed over the course of a year, Bone Dry follows the intertwined fates of two families—a territory-bound clan of spotted hyenas and a wildebeest family shaped by the rhythm of migration—as they struggle to endure in a land pushed to its limits.

As the dry season tightens its grip, tensions rise and rivalries intensify, with a wider cast of predators competing for dominance across the ever-changing plains. With a bold, cinematic approach and strong character-driven storytelling, Bone Dry unfolds as a gripping tale of survival where every encounter feels like a standoff and the balance of life hangs by a thread.

Now in development, Bone Dry promises to be a powerful and visually striking addition to the next generation of wildlife documentaries.
